Valencia dedicated the latter parts of her life to helping women and families. She leaves to continue to legacy and acts of service in this world her beloved daughter Ramycia and exceptional son Jonathan.
VALENCIA COOPER
Valencia Cooper was born January 1, 1962. She grew up on the Westside of Chicago where she attended Henry Suder Elementary and Westinghouse High School. She later enrolled in Malcolm X College where she pursued a degree in bookkeeping and accounting.
However, she later found that social services was her true passion and was where she was truly needed. Valencia dedicated the latter parts of her life to helping women and families at Bethel New Life serving as a Peer Coach for several years then later became an Advocate at the Garfield Park Counseling Center (Sisters of Sobriety) unit.
Her servitude through both organizations was invaluable and will forever be remembered.
